One World

The main feature for the Critterz metaverse is that everything occurs in the same world. This means that your community, your game, or your events can be seen and joined by everyone else in the world. The Critterz Metaverse has no upper bound for player count. Our vision is to be the most populous metaverse platform capable of hosting multiple large scale events with hundreds of thousands of people — all occurring within the same community of players.

Critterz Plots are the unit of the metaverse

Critterz Plots are virtual plots of 64² Minecraft land in the Critterz metaverse. These plots are stored as ERC-721 NFTs with fully on-chain provenance and metadata. There is a total supply of 22,500 Genesis Critterz Plots, making our total map size 9600² Minecraft blocks. You can visualize our entire metaverse map here.

The most versatile metaverse land

With a seamless Minecraft integration, you can build Plots into anything you want. On top of that, we’ve spent considerable engineering effort to successfully integrate Plots with the Ethereum blockchain and the rest of the Critterz ecosystem.

• For Web3 communities, Plots are a great way to broadcast to rest of the communities on the Critterz metaverse, as well as to establish a community hangout or games for different community-building social avenues.
• For players, Plots are a great way to create custom experiences that allow you to earn $BLOCK (e.g. a PvP arena, a parkour course, or a spleef arena) with our custom mini-game plugins that integrate with the blockchain. See a full list of features below.

<aside> 💡 Plots have no upper limit for population size. A plot owner can host events with thousands of players with no lag. Alternative metaverse options are usually capped at a maximum of 30 players in one land.

In addition to being interactive in-game, Plots are viewable on our metaverse map. There are currently a number of notable inhabitants that own Plots in the world, including Alex Becker, Pranksy, Steve Aoki, and more. We are planning on adding overlays onto the map for you to better visualize the communities and individuals present in the Critterz metaverse.
